Chers membres et amis
Merci de vous être joints à nous les 19 et 26 avril. Nous avons partagé un bon moment avec vous.
Certains d’entre vous ont exprimé leur envie de nous aider pour le festival « Artistes a Suivre » du 14 au 19 Mai ainsi que pour notre Agenda Rock du mois de juin. Tenez mois au courant pour que nous puissions commencer à plannifier tout ça. Nous aurons besoin d’arrangeurs de fleurs, de recruteurs, d’organisateurs de chaises etc…
Attention, il y a eu une changement d’horaire pour La Chorale Deux Pics en Chœur qui commencera à 18h30.
Souvenez-vous, pour chaque évènement, de vous garer en bas du village si vous le pouvez. Le Château et l’église sont à moins de 5 minutes de marche.
Notre « Off » pour le festival Artiste à Suivre est une présentation intéressante de l’association
Cette association a été créée par des passionnés de nature qui se sont installés à Quillan pour les incroyables richesses naturelles de la Haute Vallée de l’Aude. Ils organisent régulièrement des animations et des sorties naturalistes pour les petits comme les grands.
Ils donnent également des conseils pour accueillir la biodiversité dans nos jardin et nous ont aidé à aménager le jardin du Château ainsi qu’à y installer une mare naturelle.
Après seulement 4 semaines, notre mare accueille des coléoptères aquatiques, des escargots et nous y avons placé 3 têtards venant de Pétanque et Poulet Bicyclette.

Vous pouvez vous joindre à nous pour une conférence présentée par Loïc pour nous apprendre comment avec quelques petits gestes vous pouvez transformer votre jardin en un véritable lieu d’accueil pour la biodiversité. J’ai joints un poster que vous pouvez diffuser autour de vous.

Thank you all those who joined us on the 19th and 26th April. It was great fun to have you.
Some expressed an interest in helping with the Artistes a Suivre tea room which will be served every afternoon while the other events of Artistes a Suivre are happening at the chateau from the 14th to 19th May. We also for our June Rock agenda (not sandstone). Please me in touch and we can start planning. We need flower arrangers, recruiters, organising chairs serving dreinks etc.
Importantly there has been a time change to the time of La Chorale Deux Pics en choeur. The start time will be 18H30.
Please remember for all events to park at the bottom of the village if you can. It is a five minute walk up to the church and the Chateau.

This is an association started by two doctors of the environment who have established them selves in Quillan having selected it at the meeting place of three different climates and therefore a feast for any naturalist. They organise animations and excursions for adults and children.
They have given the most fantastic advice on the pond we have recently started to create in the garden Rather counter intuitively it is better no to have fish as they eat the young of the creatures that eat mosquito larvae. And of course pooh more.
After only 4 weeks our pond if buzzing with life starting with amphibious beetles, snails that seem to be able to crawl around in it and we have homed three tadpoles from the Petanque et Poulet Bicyclette
